Unbeatable price for a pretty decent audio unit

After each time, the unit choked on the CD by getting stuck

The unit looks good cosmetic wise is well designed with nice remote features

Nice unit

Remote control worked fine and unit was easy to connect to stereo amplifier.

The unit says mech error and won't play.

My major complaint is that the unit I was shipped often exhibits playback punctuated with short periods of silence or refuses to play discs at all

The changer works flawlessly and the unit offers surprisingly good sound for the price - even better than the more expensive 1-disk unit it replaced.

For the price, and for the level of quality, this is the best changer unit out there.

It seems like the unit is built by / for ONKYO from parts obtained through SONY, TOSHIBA etc. which might explain the situation.

We like this unit!But Do not put too many cds in at the same time, Mornin the hard way,, If you get 1 stuck, unplug and tilt forward at the same time, and you might get lucky!

Excellent unit.

My unit also has an issue of skipping when a CD has a nasty scratch in it, but then again this is a below $200.00 unit and not a $1,500.00 unit

I hate misplacing a remote, then can't use the unit, for somethings this seems to be how it is... or the controls are very cryptic on the unit itself).I rarely ever give 5-Stars... so, from me, this is a top rating on something I expect to last, but have not history with it.

A disappointment after receipt of a defective unit

So far the unit has worked flawlessly as expected, and the optical out delivers great digital sound.

The original unit is still rocking along, no problems!

Unit looks good and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

, I pared this with the Yamaya $150 2 channel 100 watt per channel (Natural Sound)...receiver, which is a GREAT match, one of the cleanest sounding systems ive ever owned, the 6 disc changer isn't noisy at all, & is quick, the laser reads the discs really fast, & for those interested it DOES read & play burned on disc music mp3 on cd-r discs, which was a concern of mine, & even flashes the title of the song on its screen as it loading up & playing, is a GREAT Great UNIT that I would HIGH recommend & would for sure buy again!

I have to recognize the reality that the unit was dead.

Also, be aware that although it functions OK and easy to set up, the unit is very noisy when it changes from one CD to another - - so much so that you can hear the mechanism from across the room

I installed this unit and it worked without pause

The only problem is I ordered the wrong unit

There was never an issue, and the unit then, that brand was already several years old with hours of use; and, by many different hands (not a "home" unit).I expect to have years of use, as a home unit
