The cool thing about this is that you have to constantly tap on the screen the entire time, or else the system would turn off on its own
Five stars for the sound quality (which is the most important thing), one star for the build quality.
If you're setting this up, downloading a lot, and setting stuff up - this thing will get *really* warm, and programs start to crash.
Now, onto some nicer things to say:-Once the bloatware is disabled, I can get about 12 hours of streaming on Spotify (extreme quality).-the android functionality is very very smooth
Also, beware - this product I purchased was sold by Onkyo's Japan arm, not the US, which made it impossible to get warranty service.
This is a very good product and like how the music sounds and how you can gonna tune your preference via dap settings but the onkyo player app is a but clunky and not as easy to use as others I've tried and the bluetooth sucks when I want to listen wirelessly.

I'v had this DAP for several months and am finally satisfied with it's performance which is as good as I've ever heard (now) but this model is a challenge to configure correctly.

Very poor quality and poor customer service from the Onkyo whom does not back defective products!Onkyo music software for transferring HD music files to the DAP is absolutely the worst used from any DAP owned.
The most important: clear and nice sound quality espeсially playing hi-res files
sound stage - while this is a cliché in audiophile circles, the DP-1XA's soundstage is so accurate that you'll hear the singers somewhere in the middle of your head.

The battery is terrible, i permanently use it on battery saver mode of Android, which doesn't effect performance of the music player
