What I have done is replace the center channel and the two othrer front speakers with some Sony I have in spare, the same size but of a better quality

The Speaker wire that came with the system is not good quality and you will lose much sound

The point is the apps/remotes are pretty piss poor quality but the sound and look of the system are A+.

The subwoofer cable that came with it was not of the best quality which a few other reviewers had noted as well, so an Amazon Basics was ordered to replace that.

I have never owned an onkyo with such small speakers, next the sound quality is not that great for streaming or television, but just perfect for lossless audio bluray decoding

The unit and speakers do appear really great quality, and hooking it up couldn't be easier

After reading the description and being under the impression this was a powered subwoofer set we received it only to see that it was not and the sound quality from the bass was lacking in comparison to our 6 year old powered denon speakers.

The home theater is very nice and sounds great, but the speakers are not top quality in that the cabinets are made from fiber board
