This small unit with an ample sized time display is convenient for any night table but does place control buttons rather close together

IMPORTANT: the clock face has THREE levels of dimming, so if the light is too bright for sleeping, you can tune it down a notch or two

Blue light is less obnoxious than bright red.

My fear was that it would generate light like a night-light, which is a no-no for me (see my previous comment about light sensitivity)

I can't use the projection at nigjt because its too bright, and I have to block the front of the clock at night with a pillow so it doesn't wake me up

The projection of the time actually works really well but may limit where you can place the alarm clock.

adjustable alarm volume is what I wanted, blue projection time on 12 feet ceiling is very readable when I lay on my bed.

The alarm on/off is a little annoying, as you have to push three buttons to turn it off.
