Datexx Radio Control Alarm Clock with Month, Day and Temperature
Color:Silver
The Datexx Radio Control Alarm Clock with month, day and temperature assures that the time is always right. Indoor temperature and moon phase display is large and easy to read. Dual alarm with snooze button
Would not use it as alarm clock, HOWEVER it is a nice clock and I keep it and use it as a clock because of the atomic time update, date, temperature features as well as the time.
And it gives an accurate temperature reading, checked against other thermometers.
The temperature seems pretty accurate, reading about the same as another thermometer in the room.
Offers 24hr display as well as moon phase and temperature.
I like the dual alarm feature with adjustable snooze time
Good features (large display, date, temperature, moon phases) - somewhat oversized - poorly constructed battery compartment.
I also like the date and temperature features and the fact that the clock is battery powered.
(It replaced a too-tall, hard-to-read, bedside clock that actually chirped when you pressed the button for the time (not a great feature in the middle of the night), not to mention it was unsteady and would often topple off my bedside table during the night, waking us up).
Note: If this feature is important to you, make sure there's a time signal broadcast in your area
If you live in the lower 48, and donʻt plan to travel with this outside that area, itʻs a fine little clock with nice features and loud buttons.
Later, with a magnifying glass, I could see that inside the picture of the bell there is a tiny, tiny 2 nest to the left button and likewise a tiny, tiny 1 on the bell by right-hand button
It has what she calls "the very important snooze button" which you can set for your preferred number of minutes of "snooze" on each alarm.
If you live in the lower 48, and donʻt plan to travel with this outside that area, itʻs a fine little clock with nice features and loud buttons.
It loses star ratings for me because the alarm isn't nearly loud enough -- it's like you're hearing something in a dream.
I look for the following features to be in the optimal alarm clock for me:
I love this alarm clock easy to set-up, just need to read the directions.
I since purchased through Amazon the Super Loud Alarm Portable Clock for about $15 and love it and the alarm on regular setting is fine, and the loud setting is extremely loud which I like
This is an excellent alarm clock that includes many features found on more expensive models
The light source is only at the very bottom of the display, and just isn't strong enough to do a good job of making the display readable at night, or more readable in the day.
it has fun extra not mentioned in title of moon phase graphically displayed.
Had bad display, only partial numbers was visible
The display is nearly unreadable in the dark unless you grab it with your hand and hold it right in front of your face.
Too big to be travel size, too hard to set alarm times, dim display even when ligth.
