    Ooma HD2 Handset

    • When you have an excellent feature set, the product needs to be the same build quality and this one is not.
    • The only problem is not all the features are available
    • Picture caller ID is a nice feature.
    • Lots of great features, phone book gets pushed in from contacts list on PC, dual lines, picture on phone of caller
    • It does have some nice features (being able to check the machine remotely, second line capability, etc.), but not enough to offset the bad design, bad interface, bad function
    • I like the features of this phone, but I do not like the call quality
    • The size is right and the features are good
    • Some nice features, but have to agree with another reviewer in that it IS hard to hold onto, being thin and oval and with a smooth finish.
    • I liked the features but it felt very flimsy and cheap as far as its construction
    • The phone has some fancy features, but it's better to buy an ordinary phone that works well.
    • Love the phone and the features
    • Features - I don't use most of the fancy features of this phone
    • The features of the phone are great
    • This Ooma phone doesn't support all Ooma features.
    • This is a common enough feature on most phones today
    • I like the features on the HD2 handsets and found them easy to program.
    • This feature is not available on Vonage
    • We are using the HD2 and the second number feature as a contact phone for our non profit foundation
    • The new Ooma HD2 phone has a lot of nice features, but ultimately I've decided to send it back because they just can't seem to figure out how to make a phone right
    • Most features of the Telo are difficult to access through the HD2, and many features just don't work at all
    • What ARE remarkably better features are the display and the finish of the phone
    • The neat features mean nothing if you can't talk on it
    • Some of the top features I like is the outstanding sound quality, the color display, being able to have a photograph of a contact in your address book be displayed on the phone's display when they call you, being able to conference call/bridge 2 calls together from the handset (without this handset this capability could only be done by pushing a softkey on the Ooma Telo itself), headset jack to use standard corded headsets, and the speaker phone on the handset.
    • improved HD Voice call clarity and features made possible by the Ooma cloud-enabled platform").
    • I experience excellent voice quality, and enjoy all the features on the phone
    • I love the features, dual lines, ease of use and excellent battery life.
    • This phone promise lots of good features but does not deliver all of them.
    • Best features are its integration with Ooma Telo website with excellent synchronization of contacts [way better than Panasonic's
    • Also a nice feature is that the same settings are available when off the cradle as well
    • If there are smart handset features in this phone, I never got to experience them.
    • Picture display when calling is very nice feature
    • It has wonderful features such as being able to import your contact lists from almost anything including
    • Only after six months and a long telephone call with Ooma did I learn about many of this phones outstanding features.
    • Best feature so far was after a long conference call I was still able to continue the call while placing it back into the charging cradle.
    • I love the additional features of these Ooma handsets though
    • The interface on the web has great features and is easy to use
    • The picture caller ID feature only works with
    • I like the features of this phone, but I do not like the call quality
    • Great ideas and features in theory, poor execution
    • As my wife and I both work from home, this is a very needed feature and it works well
    • Love all the features especially being able to get a second line with this handset.
    • Good features but speaker phone is horrible
    • As my wife and I both work from home, this is a very needed feature and it works well
    • Some "nice to have" features but not enough to offset the cost when I already have working handsets
    • My favorite feature is being able to select call forwarding under Premier, so when I am out in the yard, away from my home, or on a trip, I can forward calls to my cell phone.
    • The sound quality is excellent and the features are also very beneficial
    • If you are using the Premiere service then there my be enough unique features on the HD2 handset that you might prefer it (and its easy access to these OOMA centric advanced features). In general
    • I am hoping that the DND - (Do Not Disturb) feature can be programmable for a time - say from 1 to 2 PM for example, and possibly be separate for each handset
    • I do find the lack of that feature strange
    • It has versatile features, good range and clear reception
    • BUT MY FAVORITE FEATURE
    • nice brand with nice features and good CS
    • The features are great and so is the quality.
    • All the cool Ooma features are listed under the menu, but I can only read it with a magnifying glass
    • Needs more robust features such as being able to turn the volume of the speaker and handset up and down while you are on a call.
    • Great sound clarity, pretty intuitive menu structure/features, durable (have dropped it a couple of times with no effect).
    • The main feature for me is that it simply works when I want and need to use it
    • Ooma, I love your customer service and system features, especially the price of service, but the phone hardware is just too frustrating and buggy
    • It is a new Do Not Disturb feature, which means that your phone will not ring, everyone is shuffled off to voicemail.
    • While the HD2 has some great features, they are accessed through a clumsy 5-way 'joy-button' interface -- like a joystick, but with buttons -- that requires a fair amount of dexterity to navigate.
    • Has some nice potential features, but you don't need this to go with your Ooma Telo
    • Very nice feature.
    • Good features but speaker phone is horrible
    • and I want to cash in by switching this for a model that works as it should.
    • the hd2 handset works very well, and syncs well with the ooma device, as well as with the telo wireless adapter.
    • otherwise it would hit the garbage can as fast as you can say "goodby".
    • Works as it should.
    • In about 15-30 minutes, my contacts appeared on the HD2 handset, and they do work as they should
    • The call quality is just as good as with the original ooma handset - some others here have complained that the new-ish handset isn't really a quality call experience, but I believe this depends on where your telo device is in your home
    • The back is also scratched as if someone tried to reopen it after glueing it shut.
    • The phone looks good, feels good (as in size to hold in your hand while talking pervs)
