I have been using Ooma for about four years and love the service.
Not ideal, but not as bad as I first thought.-The square pad in the middle which has directional buttons is extremely small, and it takes concentration to press the right button
I like the Ooma service, and the HD2 handset has quite a few high-tech features
I really wanted to like this phone, as I love my Ooma service, but this is junk
Looks like Ooma will be a good service if I can get the phone to work
Though I am extremely happy with the Ooma service, this is a very poor product, and if I can figure out a way to downgrade the firmware I will be going back to the HD1.
Thanks Ooma for making such a great product and Amazon for selling them.
I'd recommend this product, but the speaker phone isn't the best
Very nice product will recommend the Ooma Telo to anyone.
but I don't know what to do, I hate to pay again for the worthless product like this!
Connected easily and has good reception and voice clarity
Actually, I get better reception on this than on my cell phone in our house.
Seem to have good range too, as the Telo is in one far corner of our house on the first floor and we get good reception everywhere in the house, even out and about in the yard.
Reception is good and saving a lot that was going to AT&T😊
has problem with charging and locking up, reception is poor, complaints received from callers.
Ooma service is wonderful and I highly recommend it and the Telo base unit
The unit is well built and well-designed, easy to set up, and the sound is impressively crystal clear.
The unit drains the batteries within 12 hours just being on standby with the display off / or after 1 hour of talking
Not ideal, but not as bad as I first thought.-The square pad in the middle which has directional buttons is extremely small, and it takes concentration to press the right button
Unit worked OK until user inserted batteries incorrectly.
In about 15-30 minutes, my contacts appeared on the HD2 handset, and they do work as they should
The call quality is just as good as with the original ooma handset - some others here have complained that the new-ish handset isn't really a quality call experience, but I believe this depends on where your telo device is in your home
Clumsy shape, hard to hold and headset wont stand on end (rounded)
It is a weird shaped phone and is missing an" ease of use"
The keys and buttons are large enough for someone like me with large hands, but the shape and slipperiness of the phone makes it hard to use
The phone itself feels cheap, from its cheap plastic outer shell to its buttons
Sound quality is not good specially loudspeaker and built quality is like cheap flimsy plastic
It seemed "cheaply" made - cheap plastic, weak buttons, etc. which was a turn off considering how much I paid for it
The call quality is just as good as with the original ooma handset - some others here have complained that the new-ish handset isn't really a quality call experience, but I believe this depends on where your telo device is in your home
the hd2 handset works very well, and syncs well with the ooma device, as well as with the telo wireless adapter.
Works as advertised, redial and speaker buttons are a little awkward for my hand.
My old Panasonic had a hard button that made it one press easy.-Very expensive
My only complaint is that the buttons (especially the "directional up-down-right-left button) are too small and the menu system is a little awkward.
The buttons and toggle are very difficult to navigate with; the multi button offering only a very narrow band to get it right and move in one of four directions
The number one problem was the sound quality, number two problem was the small handset and small buttons and found it very confusing and difficult to work out the different functions

The other problem I have had with two phones is with a new battery, the batteries will overheat and leak and that screws up the phone
I couldn't bring myself to go through the hassle of returning the whole thing because of bad batteries
I love the features, dual lines, ease of use and excellent battery life.
The handset if bigger than some but uses two rechargeable AA batteries, so you don't have to hunt for some weird battery if you have to replace them.
The first time, the phonescreen said it had lost the connection to the base
I originally purchased Ooma service because I worked from home often and needed a reliable connection for long conference calls (not a cell phone)
The volume is entirely too low and I can call the same person on my cell and get a much better connection
The charger didn't seem to make a solid connection to charge the battery, so I think it would be likely to get knocked loose and lose its charge accidentally (which can be a problem on the old model too, but at least there is a blue light that shines when it is connected). One feature I would
It has much better voice quality and blue tooth connection is excellent
The ring is like an Up, Down, R, L control key and my fat fingers have a hard time hitting it right
I called Ooma support this time, and was told that the phone might have been refurbished, and then was told that it was because I purchased it from a 3rd party seller...
Each time, the reps were very knowledgeable (meaning they're not reliant on scripts, but actually know things), capable... and everything just worked
Also the time on the phone was off because of day light savings and it never adjusted to the correct time
The call quality is better on normal DECT 6.0 phones plugged into the ooma.- The keys are horrible on this phone - half the time they don't work and you have to remove the batteries to get them to work.- Like an idiot I bought 4 at once and they all have issues that annoy me very
Finally, the only other issue I've noted is pressing the speaker phone button on the HD2 locks it up (or at least while accessing voicemail).
I don't especially like the feel when pressing the buttons
I have disconnected calls often by holding the handset too close to my face...it ends up pressing the call button and hanging up the phone.
I made several attempts to press the key as lightly as possible, but could not eliminate the clicking noises of my finger pressing the key from the recording
