I use the speakerphone all the time, especially while on the PC working most of the day.
-
The call quality is better on normal DECT 6.0 phones plugged into the ooma.- The keys are horrible on this phone - half the time they don't work and you have to remove the batteries to get them to work.- Like an idiot I bought 4 at once and they all have issues that annoy me very
-
I have a hard time hearing what people are saying on this handset
-
As a result, I have a harder time hearing what the caller is saying.
-
The first time, the phonescreen said it had lost the connection to the base
-
Did that and it worked the first time
-
The remaining units stink - half the time you answer a call and it drops (literally about half) - I have trouble picking up line 2 - can't seem to switch between line 1 and 2 - the one farthest away from the base frequently fails to ring even though it says it has a good signal - voice quality is sometimes excellent, sometimes degrades, and occasionally has a shrill
-
I had a difficult time reading the old b&w screen
-
However, the few times we have used it, it is dies after 30 seconds to a minute.
-
Not going to waste any more time in troubleshooting
-
Also the time on the phone was off because of day light savings and it never adjusted to the correct time
-
Each time, the reps were very knowledgeable (meaning they're not reliant on scripts, but actually know things), capable... and everything just worked
-
I called Ooma support this time, and was told that the phone might have been refurbished, and then was told that it was because I purchased it from a 3rd party seller...
-
The ring is like an Up, Down, R, L control key and my fat fingers have a hard time hitting it right
-
Seems OK, a bit flimsy, time will tell
-
Not ideal, but not as bad as I first thought.-The square pad in the middle which has directional buttons is extremely small, and it takes concentration to press the right button
