    Ooma HD2 Handset

    • OK, I admit it, I ignored all the negative reviews of this handset because I really wanted a nice smooth and simple Ooma set-up with all the features
    • Awesome, I love Ooma.
    • First let me say I love the ooma itself.
    • Several phone calls later the issues are still unresolved and after two weeks I still don't have a working Ooma system.
    • Ooma is great to help reduce your expense.
    • I kept hoping that Ooma would fix my problems with a firmware update to the HD2 handsets, but it hasn't happened in 16 months, so I am disconnecting them and putting them on the shelf.
    • We love our Ooma.
    • Ooma's handset did the trick, plus when used with the Ooma Bluetooth adapter all my phones ring my HD2.
    • On another rant--Ooma does NOT allow more than 4 handsets in my home
    • The Ooma will support up to 4 of these, so if I need more phones I will buy them later
    • The Ooma HD2 Handset works just fine, but it has a very cheap look and feel to it.
    • Ooma has worked great for our home phones, their handsets do what they advertise, make and recieve calls
    • They are awesome and love my Ooma and my Ooma service.
    • Ooma refuses to recognize MY contact info from my cell phone although every other (521) contacts are present
    • I hope Ooma will fix this software problem
    • The Ooma is fantastic
    • I ended up just getting a landline through my cable provider - they added it to my bundle of services and it actually will reduce my monthly bill for the next year (maybe Ooma will be more developed and can work out the kinks by then)
    • Ooma won't accept the return or honor the warranty because of the purchase from a 3rd party vendor.
    • I love my Ooma that I have at my home.
    • I would NOT recommend Ooma to my worst enemy.
    • disgusting! My only wish is that ooma didn't make my original handsets obsolete - when you install the new handsets, the firmware to the telo device gets updated and it makes your original handsets inoperable with the telo
    • I also bought a cheap phone from Walmart for $12 that works perfectly and feels a lot better than the overpriced Ooma handset
    • Highly recommend Ooma, but steer way clear of this product
    • The HD2 Handset is OK, but ooma didn't make the old handset compatible with the new one
    • I was hoping to take advantage of the nice Ooma Web UI for contacts etc, but it is just not worth it.
    • Great add on to OOMA.
    • like Ooma!
    • Ooma's service has been great.
    • Ooma has a winner with this new handset.
    • My isp service provider will not support ooma-Now I'm left with a product I cant use and out $180.00 because vendor wont return product
    • I will update this as things develop, however it's clear Ooma has a hardware quaility assurance problem.
    • Don't get me wrong -- Ooma is a great company.
    • Love the handset, but would like to get Ooma to work with my Amazon Alexa unit.
    • Here is my setup and need:I am a Premier Ooma subscriber with 2 phone numbers
    • So, here's the upshot: The problem with the sticking buttons is one that should concern any potential buyer; however, Ooma's willingness to ship a replacement unit, after initially refusing to do so, speaks well of their customer service -- or perhaps their fear of a bad review
    • My brother recommended Ooma
    • I love my Ooma.
    • I love OOMA but this phone is HORRIBLE
    • If Ooma had made their phones like unto the Panasonic phones, this would have been a different review
    • I found the Ooma HD2 handset Phone Device easy to navigate, form functional, and integrates well with the Ooma VoIP device
    • I love OOMA and am on my 2nd Telo Hub.
    • With any other phone, you can disable the funky Ooma tone by switching your line to "FAX Mode" in your preferences in the Ooma control panel -- but not with this handset
    • Fairly good phone but ooma is excellent
    • If you have a ooma and i love the phone service
    • So, here's the upshot: The problem with the sticking buttons is one that should concern any potential buyer; however, Ooma's willingness to ship a replacement unit, after initially refusing to do so, speaks well of their customer service -- or perhaps their fear of a bad review
    • Very happy with it and just love our Ooma!!
    • I love OOMA but was hoping for better execution on this product
    • For the price, Ooma is worth trying vs. a landline phone
    • and I want to cash in by switching this for a model that works as it should.
    • the hd2 handset works very well, and syncs well with the ooma device, as well as with the telo wireless adapter.
    • otherwise it would hit the garbage can as fast as you can say "goodby".
    • Works as it should.
    • In about 15-30 minutes, my contacts appeared on the HD2 handset, and they do work as they should
    • The call quality is just as good as with the original ooma handset - some others here have complained that the new-ish handset isn't really a quality call experience, but I believe this depends on where your telo device is in your home
    • The back is also scratched as if someone tried to reopen it after glueing it shut.
    • The phone looks good, feels good (as in size to hold in your hand while talking pervs)
