Ooma Telo Free Home Phone Service. Works with Amazon Echo and Smart Devices

    • This is a great device.
    • Extremely easy and hassles free device
    • The device works fine for what it was designed to do
    • When I made my very first call using the very expensive Ooma device, there was an echo for a few seconds and a couple of random beeps.
    • Love this device!
    • The device itself works fine, and looks kinda cool on my desk.
    • I highly recommend this device and service.
    • I knocked off 2 stars because: my Ooma device stopped working last Saturday (it's now Thursday) and although Ooma did have technical support available over this Labor Day weekend, their best support offered to me was that they would send a replacement within 3 to 5 business days
    • Its a scam, device works well
    • Great device, clear sounds and work as long as you have internet access.
    • Overall I'd recommend the Telo device and the Ooma Home service.
    • The device looks cool and the glow of the logo reassures you that it's working (blue for good, red if not connected).
    • Great phone device
    • The device works well and was easy to set up, with clear instructions.
    • OOMA locate in Palo Alto California, a great device, it will cost $40 if you want to save your current home telephone number, let OOMA know that you want to keep, don't delete your current service, OOMA will contact you to disconnect your current service, from here on when your home internet is up, you always have a land line, you can take OOMA with you to oversea.
    • Unreliable device; customer service is easily confused
    • New device is working great - my only complaint would be the brightness of the LED light.
    • Way over priced and no justifiable reason to own this pointless device
    • Great device
    • This is a great great device --- we own two and have eliminated our phone bill
    • you need a landline & have cable service this little device should do the trick for you

    • Great device, easy to setup, solid phone service.
    • Great device that works perfectly
    • The device set up was fairly straightforward, so no issue there
    • This is a great service, the telo is a robust device that does not suffer dropped connections to your ISP even when other devices on the same modem/connection are dropping service multiple times.
    • And the Ooma device is pretty enough to be a decoration on your living room table.
    • What a great device
    • might be a good device but the service SUCKS
    • The device is solid and does what it says.
    • Call quality lacks some, the Premiere upsell is overpriced, and the device periodically stops working for no reason
    • This device keeps losing connection to the internet
    • I love this device and in my home I have now installed 4 telephones on this unit
    • Bought this after a Magic Jack device failed to give acceptable voice quality

    • We have saved over $4000 dollars with this incredible device.
    • This device is great
    • I like the OOMA device, and I will give it 5 stars after 30 days of usage if the higher marks are warranted
    • The Ooma web site is a little slow but the device itself seems to work just fine.
    • The device is fine and the service works, but they will auto enroll you in the premium plan.
    • Right now this device is limited to 100mbps which may have been good 12 years ago for internal networks, but is now obsolete given the rising speeds that ISPs offer (many starting off at 100mbps and up)
    • The device set up was fairly straightforward, so no issue there
    • If you connect the device to your house phone wiring, the device can manage multiple phones, but it lacks the power to ring old-fashoined phones that use an electomagnetically-driven bell.
    • The device may worked perfectly well with other Internet providers who haven't adopted AT&T's inefficient system.
    • The device may worked perfectly well with other Internet providers who haven't adopted AT&T's inefficient system.
    • The device might be good or clear but the customer service was helpless
    • Do not buy refurbished or Used - had trouble registering the device
    • (no 24/7 support is provided by the company) and was told the device was defective.
    • The best device for VOIP communication service
    • This is one of the WORST consumer electronic devices ever made
    • Good device
    • Love this device.
    • I ultimately returned this as I could not get it to work with my alarm system, but outside of that the device functioned as advertised and was never recommended for alarm use.
    • Great Home Phone device.
    • Other than that, it is a fine device and I own and use two.
    • Extremely easy and hassles free device
    • The device is great and so is the service.
    • Buy any other cheaper device.
    • Also, the biggest shocker and most frustrating part is that the device began crapping out shortly after the warranty ended
    • As a VOIP service, the device works well for the first 45 minutes of a call
    • I've had this device for a couple months and it has rarely worked
    • The device works perfect and the price is really reasonable.
    • The device works perfect and the price is really reasonable.
    • Device was easy to configure, simply registered online, connected cables and waited for device to connect then update firmware
    • When I bought it years ago the device was around $150 and still worth every penny!
    • Nice little device, installation is very easy, quality of the calls is very good
    • The device can also fail, which mine has
    • Great device.
    • Perfect VOIP device; after a few minutes of setup, works like any other landlines service
    • This new device isn't free, there are $5 in "fees" a month, even with the "free" plan, but that is still $20 a month better than what we had with all of the same capabilities.
    • I highly recommend this device and the HD2 handset!
    • The device stopped working after 2 months.
    • The device works fine.
    • This is a GREAT device
    • The Ooma device has been an absolute godsend for me
    • Also, the replacement and transition of the failed Ooma device was expedient and painless.
    • After all, this time calling ooma on the phone and over the internet was told ooma does not support the sprint device
    • This device is amazing.
    • I have had an Ooma device for many years and really liked it until recently
    • Just hoping the device is reliable and lasts a few years.
    • The Ooma Telo is a very good device
    • While Ooma recommends you place this device before your router, I do not recommend it
    • The Ooma device works great and looks great
    • I was afraid that I would have to provision special forwarding or QoS or have other trouble because the instructions make it seem like the Ooma device need to be first inline with your Internet connection
    • Voice quality is excellent; other end doesn't even suspect I
    • well i really like the 5$ phone bill ease of use ? took 7 days to port the number at a cost of 47$ all these added costs are not to my liking
