I use the Ooma number as my main number and have Ooma set up to ring my cell or the Ooma app when every anyone calls the Ooma number that
-
And if a voicemail is left on the Ooma number, it is forwarded as a recording to email (and then forwarded to my wife's email), so we both will receive it anywhere
-
But once I've vetted individuals or if the contacts are business related, those folks will get my Ooma number instead
-
So the morons are calling my Ooma number that doesnt work
-
Since this is my only phone at this time, a power backup on this unit as well a on the router would (hopefully) keep the phone operational in the event of a glitch or power outage
-
I don't get very good cell service at home so a phone service that is reliable was a requirement, as I sometimes work from home
-
The quality of the calls is not as crisp as
-
Awesome as always this one went in out vacation home.
-
Calls are clear; as clear as on our landline or actually better most of the time
-
I dumped Verizon/Frontier as I got tired of paying $65 a month for crappy service, dsl internet that was sporadic at best, and nonstop
-
Sound quality is as good as or better than the Uverse VOIP that we had and the cost is much, much less
-
Stay away and run away as fast as you can to pick someone else ........
-
New box works as good as or better than the original
-
Add # after the phone number will make it work as it should, but so counter intuitive
