    Ooma Telo Free Home Phone Service. Works with Amazon Echo and Smart Devices

    • Easy set up, port forwarding was smooth, uploading the address book was very smooth
    • They also have a deal where if you commit to getting Premier Plus, you may get a free modem and free porting if you want to keep your old number
    • At worst they are doing this on purpose to get confused users to turn the premium service back on (and pay for it) to get their ported number working again

    • I'm regretting not porting to Google Voice for free phone service, but they don't offer 9-1-1 emergency service.
    • We had our landline/voip number ported to Ooma, so we did not have to notify everyone of a new number.
