Ooma Telo Free Home Phone Service (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • A fantastic device.
    • The device and service are easy to setup and everything has been working great for almost a year
    • I would definitely NOT recommend this device to anyone for the following 2 reasons:1
    • The device is easy to use, set up, and it hasn't given me any issues!
    • God bless the inventors of this wonderful device.
    • It's not clear if the problem is the Ooma device, their network, or my ISP, but for whatever reason, I do on occasion get poor quality calls.
    • This device is truly fantastic
    • Overall, this is one amazing device!
    • Dropped calls from day 1, disconnect from internet multiple times through out the day and night, the most unreliable device I have ever used
    • The Ooma Telo does seem to be the way to go for a flexible but powerful VOIP device to cut the cord from the phone service provided by your local communications company.
    • It is a very, very easy device to set up.
    • Select your device and in the drop down box change mode from phone to Alarm System
    • I must say that this OOMA device could not have been easier to setup and configure and the call quality is excellent
    • great device
    • I installed my Ooma device behind my router instead of in front as recommended by Ooma, so that may have been the culprit.
    • This device can be touchy though since it doesn't have individual
    • So far, I am very pleased with the way this device is working.
    • A reliable device that is easy to set up.
    • Device works...but has taken 90 days to port old number
    • then again, I have a fast broadband cable speed to support such a device.
    • Great device, works perfectly and we're very happy with it
    • It is quite simply a gorgeous device.
    • The services offered are also on par if not better and the device itself is far superior to the do nothing Vonage box
    • Since my Ooma device is the ONLY thing connected to the XWG using an Ethernet cable (that phone cord on steroids), I can tell which Unknown is the Ooma device
    • The device was very easy to set up
    • I absolutely love this device
    • I sold everything in 3 separate sales for a total of about $140, this does not account for the time I invested in the original purchase, setting up and trouble-shooting the device, and selling the devices off.
    • Pretty neat device for the price you get
    • Just beware that the device will go through a few reboot cycle when the lights will blink and the device will be unusable for a while until the automatic update completes
    • Great little device
    • I love the device, the voice quality and never had to reboot it since I had it installed a year ago.
    • Moderately expensive device with minimal monthly fees for FCC fees & state taxes (<$4.00 in NJ
    • All in all I must say I really enjoy this device and when it pays for itself, I will realize major monthly savings.
    • This devices was recommended by my son
    • Spent lots of time to know that the device is not good.
    • However, when the device has problems (my network port died), you'll have to figure in the price of a new 100+ dollar device.
    • I bought this because of the free landline service by OOMA and this device does the trick
    • Has ANYBODY noticed that it says this has been discontinued by manufacturer?I finally decided to figure out why I have been having problems for some time and my search led to Amazon selling the device, but still noting that it is discontinued. ??????
    • Not much else to say that hasn't been covered in other reviews - the device works well, albeit with a slight lag between when you speak and the person on the other end hears it.
    • It's a shame this is discontinued because I love this device!
    • Great device.
    • just was a faulty device read their forums and this is a normal occurrence.
    • The device is pretty with blue lights and emblem on top.
    • it is an excellent device.
    • I love this device, and I would recommend it to anyone.
    • this device is great.
    • Device was easy to set up and begin using.
    • Its a great device that has been running well, and on the rare occasion we have to call customer service for something, they have been good to us
    • Other than this one problem, and the high cost that Ooma charges for porting a home number ($44+ with taxes in CA), this is a great VOIP device.
    • The Device, The Price and Customer Service are Fan-Friggin'-Fantastic.
    • The device works fine but the setup is not clear.
    • Very straight forward setup and a cool looking device
    • Overall I'm very pleased and would recommend this device to anyone.
    • The device has been solid
    • I LOVE my Ooma device!
    • Very nice, functional device
    • Awesome device
    • Almost free phone service is nice, but the Ooma device is lacking in a few ways:1
    • Love this device!!
    • Once they made the changes then the devices worked great
    • This device does not solve the problem, and the HD2 handsets are no better!I will fight from within to raise their bar in this area
    • Whole service is awesome and the device is pretty good
    • I have used 2 Ooma devices (one at home and one a work) for the last 2 years
    • This is great device with excellent telephone call
    • It is such a great device
    • Clear calls, love the ease of setup, sux they charge so much for the premier and really isn't offering much, but the device is excellent.
    • Have been using this VOIP phone over a month, this device has clear voice, easy to use and manage, costs less than $4 per month of tax and fees, and free calling within US.But make sure you have a reliable internet connection, and a reliable 120v AC supply( to get around the unstable AC supply, you can install an UPS).
    • The device broke for absolutely no reason
    • I pray that the device isn't defective.
    • I absolutely love this device!
    • Just a mediocre device and poor service overall.
    • but overall the device is super easy to use
    • This is a fantastic little device
    • Great device with easy setup out of the box.
    • I have two OOMA devices and both work well at the same time on DSL>
    • The device is a real space saver and it looks really good with all the blue lights.
    • No other electronic device in my house had any problem.
    • Have recommended this device to soooo many friends and family.
    • I do NOT recommend this device to anyone, sure you pay a little more with Vonage but the sound quality is much superior to this
    • Just a great device for the active person.
    • Other than that, the device was easy to connect and works just fine.
    • I would recommend this device to get rid of "ma bell".
    • This VOIP device works as well or better than the other two we've used in the past, one from the cable company and one form the phone company
    • It is not the wave of the future but just a short term band aid until somebody can build a better OOMA device.
    • Great device and service works great.
    • Great IP phone device.
    • Awesome device and service
    • The Ooma Telo continues to work flawlessly, the device apparently quite reliable.
    • I like the touch pad device, very easy to setup and use.
    • The device is not at all fault tolerant
    • Simply put, this device just works
    • The device is way cooler, though, as an answering machine and status display.
    • I bought this device because I hated to pay the high cost for regular phone service that was VOIP.
    • It is a very attractive device with blue back lighting for all the touch buttons, and fits well in my office at home.
    • A free service as ituses your existing cable service, and all national calls are as free as e-mail
    • Overall, the phone quality is very good, though not as good as C__cast.
    • Unit arrived with a dead A/C adapter
    • A free service as ituses your existing cable service, and all national calls are as free as e-mail
