Ooma Telo Free Home Phone Service (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • We also ported our previous land line number, which was an additional $40
    • The optional Ooma handset is great in that it allows two simultaneous calls on one line/number....but very confusing on how it handles an incoming call on call waiting
    • Only problem I can comment on it that Ooma was not able to port our land line number.
    • I also ported my land line number from Verizon, and the port only took about five days.
    • Porting my old land line number went smoothly as well
    • Why pay for phone service if you have broadband?I ported my land line number and have had no issues, only a monthly savings of $33 ($37 phone bill minus $4 ooma monthly taxes & regulatory fees)
    • In the case of Centurylink, your land line number is your account number; when Ooma ports that number, Centurylink cancels both.
    • It's true, I work from home, and I was on the phone a lot, mostly to a single conference line number
    • I'm in theprocess of porting my land line number over and oncethe process is complete, I shall decide on whether tokeep the premier service after the 60 day trial period
    • A free service as ituses your existing cable service, and all national calls are as free as e-mail
    • Except to say there email F/U to every action and question has been great and complete.
