Ooma Telo Free Home Phone Service (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • In summary, Ooma is very reliable, and I can easily recommend this system.

    • Good voicemail system
    • Really like this system
    • I do not recommend the wireless add-on for the Telo, the entire system is much better when hard wired.
    • At $120 - 240 a year, this system was more expensive than some of the ones with which we may be familiar (MagicJack & Vonnage), but their features are wonderful, and they have excellent, helpful, available customer service
    • So, don't plan to use it as a reliable voicemail system when you will be gone from home for a while.2
    • the system is totally free for nationwide calling, with only the charge of taxes and fees, I don't know why everyone with high-speed Internet wouldn't choose to make the investment in the machine, even if they have a cell phone.
    • but you must wait about an hour before the system is ready to make or receive calls
    • The system is great
    • The system was easy to set up, no problems porting my number, and it's sounds great

    • I love this Ooma VoIP telephone system
    • Ooma is a terrific system
    • Apparently Magic Jack refuses to contract with the smaller phone companies so the smaller phone companies block numbers from the Magic Jack system
    • I have hesitated for years to go on a VOIP-type, less expensive phone system, as my regular phone company kept raising monthly costs repeatedly, and, to my mind, excessively
    • To sum it up briefly......great system, very functional, attractive styling......get rid of any phone system you are currently using.
    • The system works with one phone plugged in and four phone added in
    • On the other hand is you don't want all that the system still ranks as a number one winner

    • I would recommend the Ooma headset as well which make this little system shine like a brand new babies bottom!
    • This little system is amazing
    • While the replacement adapter worked, my system would not stay connected on wifi, it would only be functional about 20% of the time, the rest of the time it just had the flashing red logo.
    • I would definately recommend this system
    • It took us about 2 weeks to fine-tune getting the system to work well in my space, with several wireless phone extensions and two main phones in various rooms
