Ooma Telo Free Home Phone Service (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • was talking on it and dropped the call, I am not crazy about that
    • Call quality is excellent, though can sometimes lag, but no worse than any cell phone I've ever talked on
    • We did make a call to the Customer Service #, and although we did get help, the agent seemed to really not want to waste here time talking with us
    • but I couldn't hear her and same awful talk quality.
    • The one negative/downside I'd mention is that the feedback from others talking to me while I'm using my Ooma Telo home phone service at home say the audio quality of my voice is somewhat like I'm talking inside a hollow box - with a bit of an echo quality
    • There is sometimes a notable delay when talking on the phone, but it's manageable
    • It worked, but the echo it caused when talking was unacceptable.
    • There is a horrible 2 second delay when talking to someone.
    • The few times we have talked on it, it was clear and easy to use
    • Everything seems to work as expected, however I do get a little delay when talking to people
    • they employ double talk and pretend misunderstanding
    • Call quality is excellent, though can sometimes lag, but no worse than any cell phone I've ever talked on
    • I love the price, but long distant calls are choppy and there is always a delay when talking on the phone.
    • n’t be sorry!!
    • (I did NOT port my AT&T number for just that reason).
    • Beware the AT&T prison!Having said all that, the installation of the equipment, initial setup, etc went very
    • This works as advertised and has an insane amount t of options
    • Pros:1 - inexpensive monthly rates2 - excellent voice quality (no difference from standard land line)3 - No more money being funneled to AT&T - Hooray!!!4 - easy to hook up5 - extra phone numbers available6 - on-line system management7 - check voice mails from any PC, anywhere in the world at any time8 - Most important... use group blacklist & create personal blacklist to eliminate all unwanted calls - Sooooo nice!!!Cons
    • It works as good as an AT&T line, and at a fraction of the cost
    • Service is every bit as good as AT&T.What's not to like?
    • Just follow the directions and it works just as easily as it is supposed to.
    • Minutes later however the set up had completed and the sound has been just as good as with my ATT service ever since
    • Worked perfectly, we called several times a week and the connection was just as clear as if we were calling across the street.
    • The calls are as clear in sound as with my traditional service.
    • Your phone will still work as it did before.
    • I don't need cancelling a service to be as painful as
    • Note I have talked on Ooma when streaming such services as Pandora or Amazon Prime Videos ... as well as when playing an Internet-connected MMORPG
