At first I thought it was my wireless router and poor Wifi signals, but after doing some network speed tests, and trying a hard wired connection to my router, I figured out that it was my Ooma TeloAfter a lot of troubleshooting, I determined that the default upstream Quality-of-Service (QoS) setting on the Ooma Telo is set to 512 Kbps up.

I do not recommend the wireless add-on for the Telo, the entire system is much better when hard wired.

No ugly wires this way, nor is my phone system taking up valuable counter space or filling up my entertainment center.

There is a slight call connection delay vis-a-vis a hard-wired phone, I had to learn to count to two before saying Hello

Problem is the Ooma Unit has to be hard wired to my Router.....on the other side of the house.

We are using an Apple Airport Extreme router with a a second Airport Extreme configured as a wifi extender, with a very strong signal but the Ooma Telo Air (which uses wifi rather than a hard wired connection) is now dropping the signal more often than not.
