The little lights on the clamps are quite handy.

I was unaware that in the event of total discharge (like idiot me leaving my lights on for 9 hours) these batteries cannot be jump started easily.

The led lighting on the charger and cable are very well appreciated, especially after using it in the dead of night to revive a battery and get rolling again.

The overall design of the Optima 1200 has lots of compelling extras, the easy-to-decipher charging gauge, the multiple battery types, built-in maintainer using a dedicated cord or the charging clamps, plus the LED light on the positive clamp make for a versatile and easy-to-use charger
