Orange Holiday Europe – Prepaid SIM card – 10GB Internet Data in 4G/LTE (data tethering allowed) + 120 mn + 1000 texts in 30 countries in Europe

    • But the phone didn't work either
    • We primarily used this phone for Google Maps directions when driving or using public transit, as well as for voice calls to US and European numbers, and it worked great
    • Simply installed in an iPhone 6, restarted phone, received a phone number via SMS (+33), and it worked as I hopped across the Baltics.
    • Attempted to call customer service using another phone (different, expensive plan) but was disconnected
    • Just returned from Europe, SIM did not work, phone was unlocked and other SIM cards worked
    • Took the phone off automatic and connected to Telenor and it worked great
    • Phone and text worked great though you need to add the USA international calling prefix (001) when calling/texting
    • The phone worked in ports on the Greek Islands and most of the time when sailing between islands except when the ship was not near to an island with a cell tower.
    • All attempts to rectify this, on line (via Wi-Fi), over the phone, or at a mobile store while in Europe, lead to an incredible waist of time with no change in the status
    • I popped in the SIM card into an unlocked GSM phone prior to landing in Paris and the phone was working before entering the Immigration and Customs area
    • I regularly set my phone to make a hotspot so my family could share the data connection, and it worked great for that
    • Turned on my phone after the plane landed on the runway and the phone was working with cell and data.
    • You should know your phone will get a new phone number of the country you are in, so you will not be able to get calls placed to your original cell number.
    • Made crystal clear phone calls back to the States and video chatted with my kiddos from the shore of the Adriatic.
    • I gave the phone number listed on the packaging as MSISDN (with a 33 preceding it, the country code of France) to my family in advance so that they would know who I was once I started using the SIM overseas
    • I also topped up my phone after the 14 days for 20 Euros at a tabac in France and got another 5GB of data, 500 sms and 1 hour of talk time
    • Text received from orange with welcome and phone number associated with the sim.
    • (assuming your phone is compatible) and still be able to call home or around Europe for no extra charge.
    • Phone and text worked fine, but unless I reset my phone each day, the sim card would not connect automatically to 4G or 3G in Italy
    • We made a phone call which worked great and sent a few text messages which worked fine too
    • After we landed , popped the SIM card in, received a text message stating the activation as well as for our french issued phone number
    • Only phone works
    • When I landed in Paris the phone worked like a charm
    • I was able to top off my phone for an additional 14 days for €20
    • So, I recommend inserting the card as soon as you arrive then by the time you collect your bags, pick up your car and get a few euros, the phone was ready to go
