Reviews around value (5.00 of 5)

  • And at $50 for 10GB, 120 minutes, and 1,000 texts, it is a great value
  • We did drive around Munich as well as to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castles and had very strong signal coverage
  • While this may be a great value for some, we did not find it useful.
  • We primarily used this phone for Google Maps directions when driving or using public transit, as well as for voice calls to US and European numbers, and it worked great
  • I was able to get coverage on the ship itself in ports as well as near the coast

Reviews around advertise (4.47 of 5)

  • Worked in Europe as advertised except for our stop in Montenegro
  • In that since I find this to be deceptive advertising
  • This SIM card worked as advertised during our trip to Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia.
  • Just returned from a month across the pond and this card worked as advertised
  • Worked as advertised for the initial 14 day period, however, the "top off" function does not.

Reviews around customer support (4.45 of 5)

  • All customer support is in French and not readily translated
  • The customer support is only in French, so useless.
  • as previous review, lack of customer support. would not recommend
  • Oh and Orange charges you to contact their customer support line
  • This SIM card gave me no service in the UK and left me without any customer support since it was all in French

Reviews around travel (4.35 of 5)

  • The Orange Holiday SIM card was wonderful while traveling through England, Amsterdam, Monaco and France
  • Data sharing will not work while traveling in a train or
  • - I used it mainly for GPS and maps while traveling and going to tourist sites and it worked great for that
  • I would highly recommend the Orange SIM when traveling in Europe vs. paying AT&T $10/day for international coverage.
  • Service was fantastic while traveling, but now that the trip is over, I am struggling to change the sim card back out of my

Reviews around speed (4.28 of 5)

  • It will use 4G on the phone and trust me, the speed sometimes is faster than in USA
  • Fast 4G speed and no use restrictions; worked fine inside a wifi hot spot or in the cellphone
  • I had great coverage and fast speeds where 4G was available.
  • Very good LTE speed which was faster than the WiFi speed at my
  • I think this option is MUCH preferable to the data caps / slow speed and to paying $10/day to AT&T or Verizon for their data plans.

Reviews around coverage (4.13 of 5)

  • I would highly recommend this product as a budget saver compared to Verizon's services (on that note, my parents used Verizon in Italy and said the coverage was bad)
  • I had great coverage and fast speeds where 4G was available.
  • Easy-peasy, but... maybe not the best choice for a UK-only trip, as coverage was spotty in quite a few places, both urban London and rural
  • These sim cards "I bought 3" were 4G fast and no throttling or kicking the connection a slower edge network
  • The sim allows you to switch to different networks if you have poor cell coverage in one network.

Reviews around product (4.10 of 5)

  • This is a horrible product, and Orange is a fantastically terrible company for their total lack of support
  • So... basically, if you have an iPhone and you don't speak French, I do not recommend this product.
  • This is a great product for tourists who visit multiple countries
  • I bought this product at a store in France since my ATT international data worked terribly
  • Hence, they either sent us the incorrect product, or the image and description leaves out some important information.

Reviews around sim (3.98 of 5)

  • During our 10 day trip in Spain the SIM worked flawlessly
  • Since there seem to be some problems getting a SIM in Germany (our first landing), I decided to go ahead and risk the $50
  • If buying in the US, I’d choose the cheaper UK Three SIM card as it’s cheaper while working identically to Orange
  • I have an Orange PrePare Cartela SIM (definitely cheaper!).
  • The SIM worked right out of the box as soon as I landed in Europe

Reviews around service (3.75 of 5)

  • After a few hiccups, the SIM worked great, I had adequate 3G service while traveling abroad
  • Orange verified service, texted french phone number within 5 minutes.
  • One issue I noticed is that when I lost service (in subway for example) it would take a little bit for it to reconnect to the roaming networks
  • After leaving US put it in my (unlocked) phone in Iceland and had excellent LTE service around Reykjavik
  • Just as in the US, you may encounter poor service areas in the countryside

Reviews around phone (3.61 of 5)

  • After we landed , popped the SIM card in, received a text message stating the activation as well as for our french issued phone number
  • I regularly set my phone to make a hotspot so my family could share the data connection, and it worked great for that
  • We made a phone call which worked great and sent a few text messages which worked fine too
  • The phone worked in ports on the Greek Islands and most of the time when sailing between islands except when the ship was not near to an island with a cell tower.
  • Took the phone off automatic and connected to Telenor and it worked great

Reviews around datum (3.30 of 5)

  • The data was slow throughout Spain and the Canary Islands
  • Excellent product, your phone must be unlocked, but other than that it works seamlessly, three countries in Europe and the UK, good coverage, good data speed, international calls and text
  • Orange Holiday did provide me good data and the ability to make calls; however, I cannot send texts, at least not to the U.S., where doing so is of the utmost importance throughout the day, so I can stay in touch while abroad for several weeks.
  • The only caveat was that it had no tethering and limited data.
  • Once that was done there was ample data for a 2 week holiday in France
