    • You'll also need soldering equipment, just get a 35 watt soldering iron (around $10) and some standard lead soldering metal to do the job, getting a friend who's good at soldering is essential
    • There are six wires that you need a fine tip soldering iron to remove (Lowe's or Home Depot)
    • There is a tiny bit of VERY EASY soldering required but if you have NO experience I would recommend getting someone else to do this so you don't burn up the board.
    • Removing and replacing the logic board requires some fine soldering skills, but my Xbox has a perfectly functioning DVD drive now.
    • It is as easy as soldering a few wires and swapping a few wires.
    • In order for this to reads games you have to change circuit board from original xbox 360 drive, otherwise its only gonna read dvds and not video games, there is some soldering required but its not difficult, after swaping and soldering it works like it should.
    • this did not work for my my xbox it says I have to recalibrate and all kinds of crazy s***. very disappointed in what I purchased
