The Defender is to bulky

The commuter version is much more practical than the large bulky defender

I like this case because it provides the protection that Otter Box is known for but it is not as bulky as the Defender.

It’s not the super bulky defender

I'll just keep using my trusty defender

that's the Main reason I hate the defender

I like the commuter series just as tough as a defender but half bulk.

Just as good of protection as Defender just looks and feels better

This is much better than the bulky Otterbox Defender, and pairs great with the "Encased" brand belt holster which I also bought from Amazon.

It is smoother and does not stay put when sitting as well as the Defender.

Less bulkier then a defender though.

The defender didn’t work great for me

If you're on the fence about the Defender or Commuter, sure the Defender is a bit more bulky, however, it's grippy case makes it safer for the on-the go type person.

Not as bulky as Defender, though no belt clip.

I always go for the commuter series, I bought a few of them for my iPhone 5 and they saved it from countless drops, and they’re not as bulky as the defender.

Good case but did not include holster/clip gives decent protection but not as well as the defender series if you buy this

This is not as rugged a case as the Defender but at the same time not nearly as bulky
