The rubber sides offer the perfect grip to combat the slick outer layer
Its comphy in the hand, the cut out on the back gives me have a more confident grip which helps me use the phone in one hand and it has saved my phone from a few fatal drops
The round hole on the back of the case creates easier and more secure grip
On the other hand pe exposed rubbery parts have a decent grip
Also, the parts where the rubber is expose adds some good grip to the phone when you are holding it during a phone call or just in your hands
Agree with other comments that a little more tackiness on the back and sides would make it less slippery and the softness of the inner rubberized piece makes it a little challenging to get a good fit between the phone and the hard outer case
While the case offers excellent protection and a good fit with very good cutouts, you can get cases just as good for half the price here on Amazon
Provides some good protection but fit for the iphone8+ is a bit tight and the lightning port opening is hindered.
Regardless, it'll work in a pinch, but if you want the perfect fit, I would rather go with the Caseology 8 plus case instead
This Commuter design is missing two stars from me due to its inadequate protection of corners - which can be a serious and costly consequence in case of a drop.

Works great if your looking for a great durable case that isn’t to bulky but will still protect your phone
Time will tell if this provides similar protection to a Defender but she is not (usually) that hard on her devices so this looks to be the perfect middle road for us.

The hard plastic outer shell attaches to the rubber fitting at both the top and bottom (the Slim Armor only attaches to the sides, so only rubber bumpers protect the top and bottom)
Kind of a pain to get the inner rubber layer lined up perfectly with the hard shell when installing but with some fumbling it
