The plastic case doesn't fit close enough to phone, as such dust and things gets traped between the plastic and the screen.

Dust is a major problem and while the otterbox defender lets in some dust at the ports and camera it is good enough protection where I can take out of case every couple months and wipe clean

Dust gets between the phone case and the phone and scratched everything up

It's not that often so doesn't bother me.-Dust and particles do get trapped under the screen protector and now I have a new scratch on the screen
