The hard plastic frame of the otter box had broken and the case was unusable after that.

Another thing is that the headphone jack and the engineered opening in the hard plastic frame do not line up well enough to allow for a headphone or other cable that has a connection that is angled or much larger than the space for just the metal connection.

The interior frame of the case is brittle plastic and cracks very easily.

Nearly every time since then, the frame has cracked every time I drop the phone.

It's also hard to take off; once the hard plastic frame has clicked, it can be like pulling teeth trying to take it off
