The only downside is that after 4 months or so the flexible rubber like shell starts to not grip the cover as well

CONS: hard for people to hear you on speakerphone mode, headphone cover will eventually bend and damage your adapter plug due to repeated pressure, plastic cover that it comes with scratches easily and has extreme GLARE issues, latches of inner hard plastic casing start breaking off after several times opening it to clean inside of cover and it is difficult to turn volume up ( I have to engage the volume by pressing down then slide volume up on screen.

Sometimes the power button gets misaligned or something, because occasionally I cannot turn on my phone unless I pull the flexible cover back and depress the power button directly

fantastic protective cover!

This cover has been great...makes the phone easier to grip, offers full protection while not affecting functionality

Also, moisture gets inside the clear front cover causing me to have to close the homepage to prevent multiple unwanted inputs caused by moisture on the screen, remove the entire case, dry the phone, then reassemble.

Screen cover shows air pockets, and is not completely flush with the screen on the phone- Overall design does not guarantee complete cover from water getting under the screen cover (took this to the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh on a rainy day, once, to take photos and videos of it, and every time I whipped it out, the rain that got on my phone tends to sneak inside the cover on my screen)- Not too bulky, but the bulky size may make it harder for people to put it in their pockets, or other smaller enclosed cases- Power button cover wears out after a couple weeks of constant or daily use, making it harder to press the power button than when the silicone cover was initially installed.

plastic covering doesn't contact the screen all the way like a bubble hard to touch and make contact with screen like its domed up

The flexible plastic cover that it comes with does not do it any justice

I must manipulate the cover several times to try to have it aligned - then use my fingernail to try to push the Otterrbox button to rarely make adequate contact.

Got to say, Otterbox Defender lives up to it's reputation as a tough cover
