The first day the clear protective cover didn't touch the screen 100% but worked fine.

CONS: hard for people to hear you on speakerphone mode, headphone cover will eventually bend and damage your adapter plug due to repeated pressure, plastic cover that it comes with scratches easily and has extreme GLARE issues, latches of inner hard plastic casing start breaking off after several times opening it to clean inside of cover and it is difficult to turn volume up ( I have to engage the volume by pressing down then slide volume up on screen.

I must manipulate the cover several times to try to have it aligned - then use my fingernail to try to push the Otterrbox button to rarely make adequate contact.

My previous case lasted about 18 months before the rubber outside got loose and wouldn't stay on the phone.

After 2 years the hard plastic shell of the defender had cracks

It may seem odd that I keep purchasing the case despite knowing it will eventually break down, but I typically don't keep phones for greater than 1-1/2 years; as a result, the case breaking down isn't necessarily relevant and still provides very good protection against typical drops.

My complaints with this case are a result of the lower mix being blocked and it restricting the voice input.
