This item SEPARATES; it doesn't BREAK!I freaked out - two days after I owned it - when I thought the belt clip broke off the unit as I was getting in and out of the car (had this problem with other holster units ).

It looks simple based upon the image, but upon receiving it, I realized that it was almost as good as an otterbox.

The outer silicone shell is not as sturdy as an Otterbox by any means.

I am not sure why this case has so many negative reviews, because I have not experienced any of the problems that I have read from other reviewers.

Inside 2 piece hard case encases the phone• Soft rubber outside, is easy to grip and hold on

The internal plastic fits tight but external rubber is too soft for my liking

The colored part is a soft rubber that feels pebbles so it doesn't slip out of my hand as easily.

Lots of protection from drops and lots of functionality in its belt clip and back risg which can be used as a stand but without a protective covering for the front, it is just too bulky to use.

It even has a dust flap for the headphone plug and a cover over the charging port.
