Review is for the Otterbox Defender case for the iPhone 6 plus

OtterBox has been fairly consistent over the years and this product is no exception.

The Otterbox itself has scratches on it and the thin plastic protector over the "home" button is missing

Truly unfortunate as OtterBox has a solid reputation with quality products.

I upgraded from a Spigen case, after the Otterbox got panned a lot for a touch transfer issue through the screen protector for the 6 plus that is what I bought

I purchased the OtterBox Defender Series directly from OtterBox.com.

OtterBox handled the issue promptly after they received photos of the case components and a photo of the serial number of the case

This cover is fabulous, what I did was I took the plastic covering out that covers the screen and replaced it with a invisishield it works great but other than that the otterbox is great...

While Otterbox has been good about replacing the holsters, not only is it a pain to go through the replacement process, but my phone keeps getting slammed

It destroyed both the phone and case, but Otterbox was nice enough to replace the case for free.

(Otterbox was great and shipped me a replacement under warranty.)

My phone survived with zero damage, and the case barely got a scuff (I just dusted the otterbox

The one thing that this case succeeds in is protection (just like its previous Otterbox Defender models)

The black OtterBox goes very well with the Space Gray iPhone essentially turning it into a sleek, all-black piece.

At the time of purchase, OtterBox has changed the screen protector that a lot of people have been complaining about.

the Otterbox is good for your Iphones but for the warranty that gives the otter box is very disappointing.

Much of these has to do with their being a small air gap between the Otterbox protective shield and my iPhone 6 Plus' screen

Only downfall is the rubber covers tend to rip often but Otterbox will replace them no problem.

OtterBox are hard to open, place a phone in and then enclose it but once done they are sturdy.

It protects my Iphone 6 plus about the same as the Otterbox on my Ipad Air

But Otterbox apparently realized the flaw in this, and the Defender for the Iphone 6 Plus has a nice little membrane that covers the fingerprint scanner, which eliminates dust and particles floating around inside your case.
