The good:The case still has the same good qualities the otter box defender is known for; it gives you a feel your phone is truly protected and the buttons are easy to use
I was impressed with how fast it came and the quality of the product.
I have had Otterboxes for the past 5 years, they are the best quality of any case, (LIfeproof is very good too)
Additionally, the film of the screen protector that comes with the case is not the best quality and puts a subtle cloud over the immaculate resolution and feel of the native iPhone screen
This cover for the screen is of poor quality makes a taping sound every time you type
Also becomes distorted and loose fitting on sides and corners after a few months of use
Great fit - Like all the other Otter Defender cases I used for all my previous iPhones
iPhone 6+ fits perfectly inside of the O.B.Deffender case (not loose like I have read in a few reviews)
Though I'm confident that if my husbands phone were dropped it would definitely be protected from damage, the fit of the screen protective layer is poor
Love this Defender case for iPhone 6 plus I took to heart on the reviews about the screen protector that is built into the case not being a good fit between the the iPhone & the protector
It is made well, the clips are sturdy and easy to open, and also you can use an aftermarket Lightning cable, like the Amazon Basic on this one, or a larger barrel headphone jack with no problem
Last night the clip broke when I was painting a deck and my hands and the deck were covered in paint
The clip will depress into a locked open position turning it into a stand so you can watch movies etc
For men I would recommend belt clip, women just the case and throw it in your pack or purse.
I switched to this OtterBox after I accidentally broke the clip that came with the first case that I purchased
At the same time, I would highly recommend trying to find this at a lower price, as I feel the design flaws lower the retail value of this case
If it didn't have these design flaws I would not mind paying the amount I paid for the case.
but I would have to say that this is my last OtterBox purchase, just too much to pay for obvious design flaws not some sort of manufacturing defect that can be remedied by replacing the case.
The first was the 3G, then the 4S which survived being run over in s parking lot as well as in the middle of a major street
But this is a definite design flaw that Otterbox has decided not to fix
