I have been using the Defender Series on various phones for about 10 years and they are excellent

I have had defender series cases for all of my previous phones

OtterBox once again does a great job with their phone cases, highly recommend the defender series.

There's nothing to worry about when you use the Defender series

The Defender series has been my go to case for every phone I have had lately.

The protection is ample if slightly bulky but after about a month of use the fact that I have to tap a letter up to 4 times to ,make it work makes the screen protection pretty much pointless

It was a cheaper price than otter boxes i found in store and it came with the added bonus of being able to pick whatever colors I wanted not just the 2 single options in stores

The quality of the older S3 Defender was pretty good but got worse with the S5 iteration

As always great quality but as with most covers cannot use it on charging stand.

I gave it 2 stars instead of one because, if you look past the annoying fit, it will definitely protect your phone.

The fit on this one is so loose that I actually had to stop using the holster that came with it and use my old one because my phone kept falling off.

To bulking and the plastic cover to protect the screen is difficult to text or call someone you have to press really hard or keep hitting the letters or numbers for it to work it’s to stiff and thick but the case it’s self will protect your phone.

But I personally don't like the belt clip holster at all

I felt it stretched out of shape too fast rubber got loose first time this has happened seems like the quality has dropped!

Bottom rubber already coming loose from when youplug it into the charger.

By the second month the rubber that this is encased in was loose in various parts.

This is a durable case, but it does have a few design flaws

The shell and bumper weigh 81g, and I didn't bother weighing the holster because it was so bulky as to be unusable

Works well but suffers from one bad design flaw, the flaps covering the USB port and headphone jack

The only design flaw that I don't like about these cases is the flaps that open for the charging port and the headphone jack.

I hacked off the belt clip from the holster with a dremel tool, stuck it onto my car dash with good double-sided tape, and now I have an AWESOME car mount that handles the phone with the case on!!!

But as others have stated, somehow dust gets under the plastic cover within days of use, and my environment isn't dusty.

Its a drop proof case, but when it comes to working in a dusty environment the case traps the dust and dirt between the screen protector and screen, making using the keyboard imposible and scratching the screen.

The screen protector that is built on the case doesn't adhear to the screen itself, so since I work in a dusty environment, there was alot of dust that
