I think if you want rugged protection, the classic OtterBox cases are the way to go, and I recommend them highly on the basis of my husband's long experience with them.

Best OtterBox case I've used with my iPhone 6s

I haven't had the case long enough to see if it truly protects, but since I have depended on Otterbox for years and have dropped my iPhones several times - with the Otterbox performing perfectly to protect it every time - I am assuming I will have a similar great experience with this one

I went to get my screen replaced--because this fake OtterBox did not do the trick!!

I have justified purchasing more expensive OtterBox cases thinking they were an investment towards protecting and extending the life of my phones, but moving forward I don't intend to use them.

It is authentic otterbox, and for such a good price, I would definitely recommend this product.
