But once again it's grown on me, and although simplistic I think it's a great case
So I was intrigued to see the new OtterBox Symmetry Clear Series design, which is more like the traditional Apple case in appearance, where the phone pops into it and is protected on the sides and back only.
Bought this as my previous choice for Otterbox, the defender series, has problems with the rubber peeling
If you are looking for more protection check out some other Otterbox cases like their Defender series or some of those Lifeproof cases.

I like how you can see the color of whatever surface you put the phone down on through this case giving the illusion that you have different color cases.
so i would recommend this case in a color version rather than the clear but other than those
I have had it for at least 2 months now and it has turned an ugly rusty yellow color
I didn't want a super eye catching case because I liked the color of my phone
She likes that she can see the beautiful Rose Gold color of the phone through the case

I did give it 4 stars though b/c the plastic molding by the ports has already detached itself from the harder shell backing which means in no time at all I'll have both a bad looking cover and one that isn't protecting as I had hoped.
I like the look of the protector, but I dropped my phone the day after putting on this case and the screen shattered.
Do not buy this it is a fake otter box case, super flimsy and cheap looking
Love the look of this case and the fact that it saves my phone from damage at the same time
I enjoy the clear look but was not satisfied with this case

Still great quality and durability as can be expected with OtterBox
Fake China knock off quality is horrible not true original otter box
Disappointing quality from a company that markets itself on making products to protect your phone.
Fast forward a mere four months later, all the rubber parts around the controls and ports of the phone have separated from the plastic case and are now dangling from the side of the phone... terrible build quality, rather unexpected from Otter.
It’s a over all durable good case very light and good quality

I bought this case on Sunday, on Monday my phone was shattered, it slipped from my hand and fell not more than 3 feet
Today my phone fell 2-3 feet from my desk onto the wood floor (a fall it has persevered numerous times in my previous case) and the screen shattered COMPLETELY
It fell out of my hand onto metal bleachers and then fell 30 feet onto solid concrete and the only the only thing that happened to it was the bottom of the case was a tiny bit cracked
Pup pulled on the leash and my phone went flying a good 4 feet

However I have had to replace the case twice because the silicon separates from the hard shell
I have dropped my phone 100 times and have finally managed to crack the shell of the case, but it's still protecting my phone
I have had this case for 5 weeks and the seam between the hard plastic shell and the rubber bottom bumper is starting to come apart (see attached picture).
like the slim design but the rubber shell around the phone mute button constantly rubs against the mute button and inadvertently mutes my phone.
