I have dropped my phone 100 times and have finally managed to crack the shell of the case, but it's still protecting my phone

I did give it 4 stars though b/c the plastic molding by the ports has already detached itself from the harder shell backing which means in no time at all I'll have both a bad looking cover and one that isn't protecting as I had hoped.

This Otterbox symmetry is a hard shell

I don't like the open apple logo on the back of the Commuter and I break the plastic shell all the time

I have had this case for 5 weeks and the seam between the hard plastic shell and the rubber bottom bumper is starting to come apart (see attached picture).

I will will not give it the full five stars because less than 5 months after having it the grey inner layer is peeling away from the hard outer shell

However I have had to replace the case twice because the silicon separates from the hard shell

like the slim design but the rubber shell around the phone mute button constantly rubs against the mute button and inadvertently mutes my phone.
