I had this item in my wishlist and had previously had a wonderful Speck cell phone cover for the iPhone 4
those are nice and I don't think I will dropping my phone as much with this protective cover.
This is a very durable iPhone cover and has a sharp look
He's dropped the iPhone twice and the cover has kept it protected.
I love this Speck phone cover as it has a nice grip to it when you're holding it, not slippery like some cases.

Needed a durable case and I personally don't like the look (or price) of the otterbox.
i got the correct case for my iPhone but the lens hole is not exact... great looking case, love the look and feel.
Highly recommend if you are looking for good protection, a ton of grip, and high quality in a phone case.

My only suggestions is to get one with a darker color silicone because it is hard to keep the lighter colors looking clean.
The grip case makes it very easy to hold the device and the colors look great together.
Grips on phone are a great ergonomic design choice, color is slightly darker than advertised.

Otter box was too bulky and I had to take it completely off to use reader.
PROTECTION, I have had SPECK cases on my iPhones 4, 5, & 6. drop upon drop, this case has worked as well as the OTTER boxes and the LIFEPROOFs
It isn't nearly as bulky as the Otter box and is just as durable.
This case is much better than the overly expensive and bulky otter box case
I know an Otter Box would hold up the fall, but the constant bulky size is not always something I want to put up with

The plastic at the bottom, between the speaker opening and lower right corner cracked and broke free
The rubber lines on the hard plastic case help absorb shock when the phone is dropped.
But the rubber ridges add a nice grip while holding, as well as on a smooth surface so you don't have to worry about it sliding anywhere.
Protection wise, this case is great, but I wish they put lesser rubber lining on the back or match it with the color of the hard plastic

I haven't dropped my phone much, but a couple of times I accidentally knocked it off my bed or a counter and so far so good
A couple of the grip strips have come loose and are hanging off after a few weeks
Used one just like it for couple of years- weak spot is above the charger opening where only the black rubber trim covers.
However after having it only a couple of days it was scratched unbelievably bad without placing it near something that would cause extreme damage

Doesn't slide counters at all, but a bit hard to slide out of a pocket.
I had originally thought I'd upscale things a bit with a black Apple leather case, but the Apple Store was out of stock
Bent it SLIGHTLY to get the phone out and the case cracked on the back a bit...
Also I dropped it from 5 inches and the corner cracked a lil bit.
