Tip: To avoid burns when removing the steamer from a boiling pot, sure to lift the handle with a fork (as the instructions say), not your fingers.

The only problems I've had with steamers are their legs are sometimes flimsy and the ring in the center of the steamer (for fishing it out of the pot) is too deep and causes one to burn his fingers when he reaches in to get the hot vegetables

In the future if my opinion of it changes I will update this review to reflect what my new feelings on it are, but for now after admittedly limited use I really like it.

This is the Cadillac of steamers, I' so glad I finally bought it.
