The handles fold over each other and lock down so even tho they stick up above my insta-pot & air fryer, you fold them over & problem solved (i have a 6.5 qt insta-pot and the large air fryer).Wraps around itself for easy storage in a drawer taking up minimal space!I have had NO issues with melting and NO odors absorbing into it.

It works exactly as it should, and the fork slot to pull it out of a steam bath without hurting your fingers works great
