This booster only boosts the 700mhz band

If you are experiencing problems and the booster is not working make a video of your set-up showing the location of every part to help Protone make recommendations.

Booster works as advertised.

We live in the country but some people on Verizon can get service outside of the house our phones just must not be powerful enough

Protone was great and took care of it and sent me a new amplifier which works well.

Have patience because it's really nice having a strong signal now.

What I wish then (and know now) is that I had some way to know what gain (amplification) this unit would provide

You can get free apps for the Android phones from the Play store

It gives you a useful rfeadout and updates frequently

Spoke to Protone via email about correct freq, to my amazement

I can probably fine tune a it, and will once the weather warms up a bit.

There are better signal amplifiers available and they aren't cheap, but in my case, I need at least 25 dB of gain to be able to use my phone reliably

My original amplifier didn't work.
