I returned this product because while it does stop the noise from a ground loop it distorts the audio far too much.

Works for about 10 seconds and then distorts your audio, then drops your audio, and then comes back with the distorted audio.

The end result is imperfect, slightly tinty audio that needs to be "fixed" via EQ settings within the OS

Plug this little thing in and the audio is great now.

I don't mind the audio being muffled since I'm not into the high fidelity audio stuff.

This product did eliminate the alternator whine picked up when I plugged my smart phone audio output into the AUX audio input in my Toyota Solara while charging it through the cigarette lighter/USB adapter port.

The total length of the cable is a little short if you are plugging it in to the front of the receiver as it may hang down next to the radio

I bought this after doing some internet research, and it works exactly as it's supposed to - the buzzing is totally eliminated.

Other wise I can't hear it during normal use, I highly recommend this product of you need an in line filter for your audio input while you are trying to charge the device.
