In other words, you are taking your chances that you will get non-functional junk which you will then have to return in hopes that the next item you receive will not also be non-functional junk

What I do know is this item fixes everything, like magic.

I seen this item and seen most people are using it for their I-pod in car use so didn't know if it would work, but it worked perfectly and completely illuminated all the hum noise without degradation the audio to the recording.

Very surprised that this relatively cheap item resolved the ground loop problem created by my trying to share a set of powered speakers between two Flex Radio SDR transceivers.

Whatever the incompatibility is, this item smooths it over, and the signal quality is perfect now.

This item eliminated some interference from the other electrical devices I have in place, and restored crisp sound quality.

If you are using it for this reason, know that I've purchased two of these and both items have the same exact issue

The only downside in my application is that I had to use the AUX input in the dash and this is a bulky item to shove in the console.

The limit that this item has that if you have multiple aux female ports with splitters, like I do, only the one that is connected will work and not the others
