I tried using one of the FM transmitters, but it was unreliable and poor quality -- and if you were driving any kind of distance, you'd encounter a new radio station on the previously-open FM channel that you were using, so you had to re-tune the FM transmitter

Sometimes the sound quality breaks up if the volume on my iPhone is turned up to max and is easily mitigated by reducing it to 90 or 80% of max.

Other wise I can't hear it during normal use, I highly recommend this product of you need an in line filter for your audio input while you are trying to charge the device.
