I've had Lumix for years and loved the size and convenience and wonderful quality of the pictures.

Pictures are top notch JPG quality, with the usual caveats about small image sensor image quality going soft as ISO increases and in camera noise correction escalates

Seriously, the poor image quality despite the 16mp rating is pretty sad.

Considering photo quality, features, extreme compact size, excellent shockproof and weather-resistant qualities AND a price that won't break your budget I would put this camera at the top of your short list of everyday fun cameras that you will want to take with you
