• Reviews around interface (3.61 of 5)

    Panasonic DMP-BDT230 Smart Wi-Fi 3D Blu-Ray Player (2013 Model)

    • The video shows me demonstrating the physical disc player, and then me walking you through the screens of the various interfaces and menus and functions available on the player
    • Overall I also found the interface to be fairly user-friendly, though not quite as user friendly as LG.
    • Its interfaces need work to show consistency, the web browser is clunky and pretty unusable
    • The arrow based navigation has promise, but we prefer a cleaner interface
    • Neo-6 (remixes 2 channel sound to 5.1, actually a decent feature) and a much smoother user interface (it looks the same, but has a sharper font and loads much more quickly, especially for network content).PROS+ Smooth, responsive
    • Once you boot it up (boot up and shutdown is quick enough), you are welcomed with a clunky interface
    • The interface is its major weakness, and one that should be easy to resolve
    • But the interface and icons are not as intuitive or user-friendly on this player
    • Works like a champ, better interface, better apps, better Wi-Fi connection, faster power up and load times.
    • And the interface is not "responsive" - in terms of being useful on a variety of screen sizes
    • The Media render continues to work as it did on last years model.
    • Hubby hooked up his MP3 player to the USB and music playback works just as well as in our other player
