It is very responsive and if you do not have a Smart TV , you know, with WiFi and all of the goodies then this little BlueRay

The only nit I have to pick is that is sometimes wants to switch the TV (Samsung Smart TV) to 3-D mode when starting up.

We also have a Panasonic TV so the remote works for both, which is nice.

In my case I have a Samsung Smart TV, so if I need to change the volume, I have to grab another remote

Overall, both in video and audio the DMP-BDT230 does a good job

if you want one that will do a good job with upconverting regular DVDs, play most Blu-rays without issues, and give you access to Netflix and Amazon Prime (we have both, so having aps for both is important to us).

explained that I was starting to lose my patience and would wait for that supervisor if it took all day and night!A few minutes later the tech support guy came back and explained to me that I had a hardware failure, as if he just figured that one out for himself, and that I should return the unit and everything that came with it, including the paperwork
