We called Samsung tech support to try other options to get the DVD player to read the discs to no avail

I've spend days talking with tech support and nothing works, opening ports, hard wiring a LAN cable, nothing works this is not worth my troubles and I will never buy another product from Samsung because of this.

I finally got got a hold of a tech support guy who said there's nothing you can do once you're stuck there

Stopped working after one year out of warranty trash will throw away samsung tech support sucks will not bye any samsung devices

And by the way, Samsung tech support and upper management are not helpful when dealing with them

Extremely slow downloads at set up time - when playing a DVD the picture always freezes stating that mode on player is not compatible with
