Samsung BD-E6500 3D WiFi Blu-ray Disc Player (Black) (Old Version)

    • You'd think the player's smart phone app touch pad would help with this, but it's even worse/slower to move around
    • You can get online, use the popular apps, it has alot of formats to pick up from if you have something on USB ex(mpeg4, mp3, Xvid
    • They cover pretty much everything you would like to know:Product updates upon setupSmart Hub updates upon setupSeveral/almost all Apps update upon selection of an app (when you first use that app)Feels like a step down from last year's models, for being the highest model released this yearThe BD player's menu is a little faster/smoother to navigate than last yearThe menu system has been overhauled and is now identical to last year's Samsung HDTV's menusI was not impressed by the Web Browser
    • I recommend this to anyone who wants to add 3D, smart features - apps and internet to their TV
    • The player is pre-loaded with service useful apps.
    • The Netflix app on my TV works quite well, so no need to really try it out on the blu-ray player
    • Apparently Blockbuster has not programmed an app for this player, but all other internet services work beautifully
    • Apparently Blockbuster has not programmed an app for this player, but all other internet services work beautifully
    • Dual HDMI OUT would have been more useful, both for those whose receivers aren't 3D capable and for those who just want to send a separate hdmi out for their video - pristine and untouched directly to the TVI could not find an HBO Go app (but it is an available app on my Samsung tv for some reason)There is still no Amazon video
    • The Smart Hub app works as advertised, though I use the one in the TV (F6400s).
    • And as previously written apps like HBOGO not available.
    • When things work as they were described or better it makes it easy to give a 5 star rating got what I wanted and more
