it quite annoying downloading even the most basic allplications like it's own "hub" on the first access I hoped to see at least some version preinstalled

It even lets you move the mouse around within the Smart Hub itself which is nice

I have three of these in my house and after months of wrangling with Samsung customer service over a fix for the non-working smart hub in my 6 month old player.

The Smart Hub app works as advertised, though I use the one in the TV (F6400s).

I don't know if Samsung will improve the experience in the future, but right now you need to spend hours downloading and installing updates to the player, the Samsung Smart Hub, and some of its apps (like the web browser).Speaking of the web browser, it's terrible

They are slow to boot, lack options like 2D to 3D conversion and HDMI options found in their older players and Sony players and the smart hub system has issues especially compared with their ES7100 and better TVs
