Good picture quality lacks front display can’t tell from a distance if I s on or off because of the microscopic red and green light

As of today, I cannot even play movies without the remote, in essence the player no longer works at all.*my initial review is posted below*The player itself seems to work well and the quality is pretty good
I received the first with a nonworking DVD door sent t back ordered another one same problem
It does play my 4K movies but the quality isn't as good as I was hoping.
I do not use any of the smart features because I have a smart TV, which has all the features i want, no need to switch to the player for anything but playing movie discs
In conjunction with the Smart TV the pair of them want to do everything for you.
I have not been able to use it because it's not compatible with my Vizio smart TV.
Works especially well if you have a Samsung 4k Smart Tv.
Coupled to a Samsung smart TV and setup was quick and easy.
