The Uniden 1660 (cordless) does have very good sound quality, significantly better than any cordless I've ever had, though definitely not up to a good corded phone

good quality -clear phones, I have a hard time hearing and these help me to hear on the phone better when someone calls.

The sound quality is amazing and is even more so when using the Panasonic headset.

Since hearing is a consideration, my top requirements were: ample range for a 60-foot long apartment; good voice quality (or at least better than the Uniden it was replacing), good volume, and no static; and a speakerphone on the base as well as the handsets

I ordered this in the hopes that the sound quality would be better than the existing system I had.

DId not keep this but when I briefly had it I almost did bec of the large size and nicer sound quality than most phones

After a month and a half of the off button locking and not working and the sound equalizer button on the side locking everytime use, plus very poor sound quality and not as loud as our cell phones or as clear, we are sending back and asked for a refund using the canopy protection plan that only cost a few dollars

On top of this, it is very difficult to use - not intuitive as to how to get voice mail, adjust the volume (the side volume adjustment only changes the ringer volume, not the conversation volume.

SO if you don`t notice the blinking light, you won`t find your messages till the next day or so.

However, t will not definitely buy it again or recommend it to any hearing impaired.

At a cost of about $60 for a single phone, the Panasonic TG6591T is pretty expensive

Very simple to use and set up, more so than competitors like A T &T phone system that crapped out within 1 year.
