I was encouraged by the great zoom and wonderful pictures the ZS60 took in daylight (and glorious photos of the moon) as well as its amazingly small size, but struggled to wrap my head around the multitude of features this camera has, features I don't need

The zoom is so powerful it's amazing.

Impressive zoom for both photos and movie

I am still messing around on this, so I have not used this in a real scenario scene, only for testing in house and outside, and I am impressed with video and picture quality in such a small camera... zoom works great and better than all other point and shoot cameras I have used, but I would not zoom in on subjects to max, sharpness gets very dull and cloudy.... now with my camera, changing focus points in post focus was a little hard to figure out, but once you figure this, I love this feature, and you won't find this in any camera or phone that I know of

The zoom is NOT good

Having the pocket super-zoom is surprisingly useful, works like amazing binoculars for events

The zoom is very impressive but I was equally disappointed in the quality of high zoom & mid to close-up shots

The zoom is amazing and is clear as crystal up to 30x

I wanted a long zoom compact camera

I bought this camera to complement my other camera which has excellent low-light capability but a poor zoom range

Focus is jumpy at max zoom, although using multipoint focus seems to help quite a bit there.

I bought this camera because several reviews mentioned that its zoom is amazing, but I found it is much less than I expected

The auto setting and the super zoom allowed me to get some great shots of my son's college graduation ceremony, even in dim light from my nose bleed seat in the balcony.

(I'm not talking about a 60" TV screen) this long 30X zoom becomes meaningless

Compact size, excellent zoom range, versatility with both manual and automatic controls, still shots and video capabilities!

The Zoom is AWESOME!

I find the camera very compact with a great zoom lens

The lense is silent while zooming

The zoom on this is fantastic and I love the ability to download images to my phone or computer via wi-fi

I was able to zoom in and capture a video with my son and his principled zoomed to full screen.

I mean for a camera with this price, it is really tolerable, but if you want to get a great zoom, it is not the one

The zoom is terrific, the auto focus is easy to use, it has a touch-interface on the screen to quickly get to the menu in the camera.

I like the long zoom, the RAW format, the viewfinder and the fact that I can put it in my pocket.

I love the that the ZS60 has an amazing zoom

For this, I need a good zoom lens, and the 30X of this camera is exceptional for my needs.
